First day after release – neat use case for AlertGrid

Yesterday we’ve released AlertGrid. (yuhu!)

This was a lot of excitement and still is. Especially when new user creates an account. I’ve noticed that I’m frequently checking if there is somebody new on board. Even it is a great fun
watching as your first startup grows I decided to make my efforts much easier. In fact I don’t need to spend time on constantly monitoring of my business. My new toy (AlertGrid) helps me easily with this. How exactly?

I extended function reponsible for registration of new users with couple lines of code which send a Signal(with account name) to AlertGrid each time new user arrives. Then i created a rule that sends an SMS message whenever such signal is received.

And that’s all. It’s working and I’m even more happier than 5 minutes ago:)
